Care Instructions
All my crockery is suitable to use in a dishwasher.
To extend the durability of ceramics, I suggest handwashing with a soft cloth or sponge and mild dish soap. Ensure to dry the pieces thoroughly with a soft towel after washing.
If you choose to use a dishwasher, I recommend selecting a low-temperature cycle and ensuring not to overstack the items, maintaining space between them, and avoiding any sharp objects that could scratch or chip the surface.
It is safe for use in a microwave, freezer, or oven up to 200°C.
Do not use abrasive sponges, scourers, or harsh cleaning products.
If you notice any damage to a piece, such as cracks or chips, I advise discontinuing use, as damaged ceramics can unexpectedly break and may cause injury.
Some of the matte glazes are alkaline meaning they can react with prolonged contact with acids resulting in a bleaching effect.
In order to avoid or minimise this I recommend rinsing the vessels asap after use and using a little mild olive oil as a sealer where appropriate.

Lars trained as a production thrower at the Danish studio pottery Brangstrup Stoneware. After graduating Lars worked for several potteries in Denmark as a potter and designer
In 1993, Lars moved to London to work as a production manager in a company making ceramic tabletops.
Lars works within the Scandinavian tradition of design and function. All designs are handthrown by Lars on the wheel in finest English porcelain, handles are hand pulled and all pots are fired by the craftsman himself.
In 2000, Lars moved to rural Suffolk.
Soendergaard Design has exhibited at the Chelsea Crafts Fair and trade shows several times and sells its products all over the world. The past and current client list includes; Heal's, The Conran Shop, Le Bon Marche', Designers Guild, Nicole Farhi Home Collection, David Mellor Design, Toast , Liberty, EE Home The Hamptons NY, The Merchants Table Woodbridge , Informalware Seoul, Tori Jones Studio NY. and many more.
In recent years several restaurants around the UK and internationally have commissioned exclusive designs incl Gordon Ramsey.
